Join us for this Divine Dance Party in Washington Sq Park on June 24th, 2021 @ 6pm! We invite you to live, laugh, love and dance it out with us as we give this Gift of Joy to our beloved NYC & celebrate over 300 Female & Non-binary Artists with the Launch of the 2021 Every Woman Biennial

We will be gathering and forming an uplifting circle of unity around the glorious fountain in Washington Sq. Park for this dance, everyone will be facing in toward the fountain/toward each other the whole time - moving and grooving together!

Learn all the moves here, so you can boogie down with us! There are only 2 short sections of choreography to learn & then an explanation of how it all fits together. Have Fun! Can't wait to see you there!

IMPORTANT NOTE- WE INVITE ALL PEOPLE to join.

* this dance is Easy and Accessible, can be done seated, if you are near by and can hear the music then Dance Along!!!

SPECIAL TIPS -

* use this instructional video as Your Mirror - When you hear the words "Left" & "Right" use Your Left & Your Right - TRUST IT!!

* Feel Free to Go At Your Own Pace - PAUSE, REWIND, REPEAT as you wish if you want to practice again before moving on.

*At the event, we will all dance together a couple of times to the moves we learned, and professional dancers will additionally perform around the fountain in between our dances.

EVERY WOMAN BIENNIAL, the wildly popular and world’s largest all woman and non- binary art biennial of its kind, is expanding for its 4th edition to be presented in two major cities simultaneously - London and New York - in June and July 2021.

The New York 2021 edition will present its 1st NFT Biennial in collaboration with Superchief Gallery NFT, the world's 1st physical gallery space dedicated to NFT art. Always evolving to provide inclusive opportunities to support women and non-binary artists, the aim of the Biennial is to give hundreds of artists, who are interested in exploring the new technology and mint NFTs, the opportunity to reach new audiences and sell their art on this platform.

The Biennial launched in NYC in 2014 by founder C. Finley, originally under the name, The Whitney Houston Biennial, as a way to provide a platform and exposure for more female artists. Each year, one of Whitney Houston’s songs that shouts out women lifting each other up, provides the title for the Biennial, as well as a block-party style street dance, and this year’s Biennial theme is MY LOVE IS YOUR LOVE.
