You're invited to “EVERY WEDNESDAY” at FCH, a weekly 2 hour FREE dance party: a “social workout”!! This is a FUN free cardio workout and a perfect excuse to meetup with friends. MOVE TO THE BEAT, Multi genre... with professional dj remixes, mashups, and playlists of new & old classics, DJ Lisa will keep y’all on yo feet. It’s LOUD FUN with our PA system and nightclub feel with a smoke machine, disco ball, and dance lights (but no seizure inducing strobes). Most folks are on their feet, some dance while seated in a chair, some like playing our hand drums to the neat, but no one is sitting still!
Dancing is freeform like a club, just do your own thing. This is not a coordinated class. Personally, I have no dance training or style, I’m just a hot mess having fun, burning calories, and striving for a trance-like state, similar to a runner's high! Music playlists are pre-curated with DJ Lisa, so no special requests please. This ain't your granny's wedding reception.
BYO bev, edibles, snack, and/or water bottle.
Music starts 7pm sharp, off by 9pm, so you can be home in time for bed.
