This free program for children and families will take place June 24 at 3:00PM in the Summer Reading Tent outside Defiance Public Library. No registration is needed.
From the earliest rocks of Ohio’s Ordovician time period found in the southwest region of the state to the “youngest” bedrock of the Permian Period found in the east, Ohio has terrific stories to tell through the fossils left behind. We will learn about some of these ancient curiosities by studying some fossils and making some to start our own stories.
Presented by Wendy Baker of the Defiance Soil & Water Conservation District!
