About this Event
Join our two day Casey Trees' Day Camp and come explore the Brookland neighborhood and become a Junior Urban Forester!
Youth participating in our two day, Spring Break programming, will have the opportunity to discover the magical world of DC’s urban forest. Campers will spend each day hiking, crafting, and playing games all centered around the trees of DC. Specific activities include species identification, map design, hands-on nature-based crafts, and tree science experiments. Programming is grounded in themes of teamwork, environmental stewardship, exploration of the natural world, making new friends, and developing a connection to the outdoors.
Outdoor learning experiences are vital to developing a child’s mental, physical, and emotional well-being. At Casey Trees, we believe in equitable and accessible programming. To learn more about our educational programs, visit our website here.
