About this Event

Every Child, Every County: The NC Public Education Forum

Join us for an engaging, in-person conversation on the future of North Carolina’s public schools. This special forum brings together current State Superintendent Mo Green and former State Superintendents June Atkinson, Bob Etheridge, and Catherine Truitt for a thoughtful, fact-based discussion on the key issues shaping our education system—and the opportunities ahead to ensure every child in every county receives the high-quality education they deserve.

This is a unique opportunity to hear directly from leaders who have guided public education in North Carolina, gain valuable insights, and engage with fellow community members and education advocates.

The panel will be moderated by Doug Shackelford, Public Ed Works board member and former Dean of the Kenan-Flagler Business School.

Don’t miss this chance to be part of a meaningful conversation that will help shape the future of our schools.
