Trek & Reset : Everton Mural Trek

Follow us on this unique urban trek where our mission is to hunt down the iconic murals drawn by acclaimed self-taught local & international artist YC Yip. We will also check out other interesting artworks in this area.

BARBER, AMAH, PROVISION SHOP, etc …are just some of Yew Chong’s iconic pieces of murals waiting for us to discover.

At the same time, we will also be doing Human Reset meridian therapy exercise together in a lush beautiful park to help energize our body and boost our immune system. Don’t know what it is?

Join us and you will be enlightened.

Additional bonus is learning about the interesting history and stories plus greeneries that abound in the historical areas that we are visiting.

Meeting Point: Outram Park MRT Exit G (exit to Cantonment Police Complex)

The most convenient MRT to alight at is Outram Park MRT. Proceed to Exit G that leads you to the Cantonment Police Complex. We will gather at the iconic medallion artwork of local artist Wang Lu Sheng.

Meeting Time: 8:00 am

Start Time: 8.30 pm sharp (may start earlier if all participants have arrived)

End Time: Between 11.00 pm ~ 11.30 am

Expected number of participants: 15-20 participants

Fitness Level: Average

Pace of Trek: Super-Normal Walking Pace

End Point: We will end up in the vicinity of EVERTON PARK

(For those wanting to park their car at the end point, you could park at Spottiswoode Park car parks & then find your way to the Start Point. It is about a 15 mins walk to the MRT meeting point)

After the Trek

It has now been a popular tradition for our trekkers to adjourn to a nearby MAKAN place at the end of the trek, order yummy food, chill out with drinks & yak about everything under the sun and the moon…

All trekkers are welcome to join us in this purely voluntary tradition where many a lasting friendship of people with like-minded interest are formed.

Cost of this after-trek activity is purely on DUTCH.

Other Points to Note

Note that this is an all-weather trek. As long as you are well prepared clothing wise, trekking in wet weather is an experience in itself.
