About this Event
Create a beautiful everlasting wreath using hardy and elegant tillandsia (air plants)! In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn simple techniques for attaching your plants and tips on how to care for your wreath so it thrives outdoors year-round. These long-lasting wreaths make wonderful home décor pieces or thoughtful hostess gifts for any occasion. Please bring your own wire cutters.
Instructors:
Leslie Almeida and Sue Girton are members of The Garden Club of Honolulu.
Sue’s lifelong love of plants has taken her from childhood hobby to professional passion, and she’s a fountain of knowledge on all things horticultural. Now retired, she spends her days tending to her fabulous garden and sharing her expertise with others.

Proceeds from this class go to the Lyon Arboretum Education Department.
