Robinson Bolkum
Mr. Bolkum was raised in a fieldstone manse on the Northeastern outskirts of Rothbury.
His mother Geraldine & Father Monroe constructed oddities of scrap-wood, of metal & fabric. They traded these things for provisions, as often as motorists intruded. His brothers Lucius, Guthrie & Jerome would hunt rabbit at the break of dawn. They would then (often) dance-about in their skivvies at local covered bridges & silos (& such). Sisters (Eleanor & Wilma) were timidly muscular, & brutalized pert city-boys, in ways that these fellas enjoyed. Young Robinson lived as a self-styled ascetic, singing show tunes (on an oxcart). He slept in grottoes, garages & sororities. At nineteen, he authored a Bronze Age legend, but after that his time-travel-pocket-watch broke. Always the inventor, he applied for a patent on the (nearly spectacular) tandem unicycle. He now lives in Sussex, with a bar maid, & smithy, where they author greeting cards at a rooftop café.
