This trip will be suitable for even those who do have not any previous experience but you need to be ready physically and mentally. We have some records that kids below 12 years and 70 years old people also done successfully. We have a maximum of 10 people in a group.

You can bring it from your home or buy and hire it in Kathmandu also with a reasonable cost. 

Nepal Mother House Treks arranges Everest Base Camp Hike whole in the year with an experienced Government License holder local Guide and porter. But the best time is the beginning of September to mid-November and the beginning of March to mid-May. We arrange Everest Base Camp trekking according to our client’s desire and holiday schedule.

For Everest trekking you need 2 different permits;

[I] TIMS Cards (Trekkers Information Management System) 

[II] Sagarmatha National Park Entry permit. 

To make those permits we need your Passport photocopy with a valid visa for the entire trek 4 copies of passport-size photos and travel insurance for evacuation cover if you need it during the trek.

 Basically the EBC trek can be done in 11–12 days too but I would like to recommend 16 days. And it will take a couple of days extra to get back to Kathmandu if you delay your flight due to the weather. 

The Trek Itinerary is given below:

Everest Base Camp Trek: Suggested Itinerary: 12 Days

Day 00: Arrival transfer to the Hotel and trekking preparation and paperwork day in Kathmandu.

Day 01: Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (2800 m) for a 30-minute trek to Phakding (2640 m) for 3 to 4 hours

Day 02: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3430 m) -5 to 6 hours

Day 03: Acclimatization in Namche Bazaar and visit Khumjung Village (3790 m) and Everest View Hotel (3880 m)

Day 04: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3867 m) -5 to 6 hours

Day 05: Tengboche to Dingboche (4410 m) -5 to 6 hours

Day 06: Acclimatization day at Dingboche visit Nangkartshang peak (5615 m). Nangkartshang Peak (5615 m)

Day 06: Dingboche to Lobuche (4930 m) -5 to 6 hours

Day 08: Lobuche to Gorakshep (5140 m): 3 hours; & Everest Base Camp (5364 m) -2 to 3 hours

Day 09: Gorakshep to Kalapater (5550 m) in 2 hours & Stroll back to Pheriche (4240 m) in 5 to 6 hours

Day 10: Pheriche to Namche Bazaar (3430 m): 7 to 8 hours

Day 11: Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2800 m): 6 to 7 hours

Day 12: Fly back to Kathmandu and enjoy the rest of the day.

Day 00: Then final Departure to your Destination.
