It is a wonderful opportunity to experience the mountainous landscape on the ‘Roof of the World’. We walk on the trails used by Everest summiteers and end our journey at the Everest Advanced Base camp at 6,340m (20,800ft). The trip begins in Lhasa where we visit Potala and Norbulingka Palaces along with other landmarks.
Next, we drive to Shigatse, then to the trailhead at Lotingri. In between, we visit few other Tibetan landmarks like Tashilhunpo Monastery, Khumbum Stupa, Phalkot Monastery and others which showcase the rich culture and history of the Tibetans. Reaching Advanced Base Camp of the world’s highest mountain, Everest guarantees us a sweeping view of the majestic mountain and is certainly a surreal experience for any adventure enthusiast.
