artisan and paper boat press in conjunction with Brisbane Writers Festival invite you to an afternoon of conversation and refreshment to celebrate the beauty and ethos of Japanese objects.
The first publication of Kylie Johnson and Tiffany Johnson, Utsuwa: Japanese objects for everyday use, is available now through paper boat press and Thames & Hudson. The book is a celebration of Japanese ceramics and the handmade through an intimate exploration of the makers, markets and galleries of Japan.
Join Kylie and Tiffany in conversation with Nina Stacey as they take us behind the scenes into the private studios of some of Japan’s most exciting artisans.
