About Our RallyWhat began as a community’s heartbreak has grown into a powerful movement for change. Our first two rallies in St. Catharines were born out of the devastating story of Little E, whose case shook Niagara to its core and sparked an urgent call for justice reform and greater protections for children. Her story united survivors, families, and advocates, reminding us that when a child suffers, an entire community rises.
Since those first rallies, Our Heart On Our Sleeve has taken this fight directly into council chambers across Niagara. Our team has delegated in St. Catharines, Wainfleet, Thorold, Fort Erie, Welland, Grimsby, West Lincoln and beyond — securing growing support from municipalities who agree it’s time to open the sex offender registry for public access and safety.
Canada has two sex offender registries:
• Provincial
• Federal
Right now, neither is open to the public and only accessible to police and that needs to change. Our immediate focus is on the provincial registry, because change starts at the first level of government. By putting pressure on the provincial government, we begin climbing the ladder — one step closer to achieving access at the federal level as well.
This rally marks the next chapter: taking our fight from local municipalities to a major city, where our voices can no longer be ignored.

We need strength.
We need every single voice.
Meaningful change happens when communities stand together, loudly and unapologetically, in defence of our children. Your presence matters. Your voice matters. Every person who shows up strengthens the message we are sending to lawmakers: open the registry, protect our children, and put public safety first.
