Join us for a special All Saints’ Day Evensong at St. Paul’s, Portland’s oldest continuing Christian church, founded in 1763. This evening service weaves together prayers, music, and readings from Holy Scripture.
All Saints’ Day gives thanks for the great “cloud of witnesses” (Hebrews 12:1)—all those known and unknown who have gone before us in the faith. It reminds us of the communion of saints and our shared call to holiness, as the faithful departed continue to encourage us by their example.
