Step into historical Palestine through Maroun Tomb: the Palestinian-Lebanese artist whose 1947 exhibition in Haifa was lost due to the Nakba, and whose legacy lives on through the exhibition project The Lost Paintings: A Prelude to Return.

In this guided painting evening at the The Lost Paintings exhibition space, we’ll draw inspiration from Tomb’s themes: memory, displacement, landscape, architecture, and the imaginative act of recreation — and invite you to create your own painting in his spirit: exploring what was lost and what can be imagined.

Whether you are an experienced painter or brand-new to the process, come prepared to slow down, reflect, create, and connect.
