Evenings in Honduras Album Launch

There’s something quietly powerful about a hometown stage, especially one that has stood at the centre of a community for over 150 years. Her Hometown is a curated concert series where we turn our stage outward, creating space for local artists to headline rather than playing support for touring acts. Her Hometown is both a celebration of Ballarat’s deep musical roots and a statement about its future. It’s about recognising the calibre of artists who call the region home and giving them the spotlight they deserve.
Our first Her Hometown concert celebrates legendary Ballarat band Epicure as they launch their new album ‘Evenings in Honduras’. The band will be playing material from their extensive back catalogue, as well as songs featured on the new album.
The first single ‘Is There Any Way Out Now?' was released on Friday June 5, the film clip for which was shot on the hallowed stage at Her Maj. Epicure will be joined on stage by several guests and their friends The Dead Salesmen and Daisy Kilbourne will be the supports for the evening.
