Evening Talk: Gathering Landscapes with Heavy Water Collective

The Gathering Landscapes exhibition at Weston Park Museum presents images and artefacts found across Sheffield’s collections of natural science, archaeology, industry, social history, visual art and decorative art.

In this evening talk, hear from Heavy Water Collective artists, Maud Haya Baviera, Victoria Lucas and Joanna Whittle as they provide a deep dive into their research, and reflect on the resulting themes, narratives, artifacts and artworks they’ve drawn out across the exhibition.

You’ll find out more about the artists’ working processes and how this eclectic selection of material from across the city’s collections came in to being.

This talk forms part of the programme of events complementing the exhibition Gathering Landscapes, at Weston Park Museum from 27 November 2025 until 1 November 2026.
