Evening Summer Naturalists

Let’s explore nighttime in nature! Join us to celebrate National Moth Week and learn all about moth characteristics and identification. Discover the differences between moths and butterflies, practice matching caterpillar to moth, and use our 3D microscope to see moths up close and observe the secrets of a moth’s wing. Join Insect Intellect for a guided night hike at 8:15PM and observe the diversity of moths up close with UV lights. Located at the Harrell Family Botanical Gardens from 7:30PM – 9:30PM. This event is free and open to guests of all ages with adult supervision.
