Evening Pole Clinic

Kirsty Feist our Level 3 UK CC coach & WES professional is hosting the clinic.
Pole work, particularly raised poles will encourage the horse to engage the muscles of the Flexor Chain (i.e. the muscles of the horse’s body that flex the neck, back and hip), helping the horse to strengthen their core and stretch their neck, stretch their back and into their hips, rhythm, correct bend, adjustable canter, straightness and energy.
Pole work for Balance - trot work over multiple pole sets and a small amount of simple canter work over single poles. We will be focus on rider and horse position and balance: and developing the ride-ability of the horse
Brilliant for rider’s body balance, thinking ahead, straight line work & working on the correct bend.
- getting horses out to a different venue
- strengthening horses coming back to work
- make a change for English / Western horses.
