WELCOME to "Savannah Stretch and Mindful Movement!"


"EVENING JAZZ STRETCH"


We invite you to immerse yourself in the joy of mindful stretching.


Proper stretch techniques are provided. We then we guide you through a progressive flow of gentle dynamic stretches - lightly choreographed to the smooth mellow sounds of jazz, old-school R&B/Soul and a touch of Reggae.


It's the perfect way to unwind, relax, and melt away the day's stress as the sun sets. Our stretch sequences are designed to increase flexibility, improve circulation, and prepare your mind and body for the journey into sleep.


We'll meet at the Magnificent Forsyth Park (located within minutes of River Street) to embrace the serenity of nature as we allow the rhythm to soothe us into a tranquil state.


Please don't worry about mosquitos. We strategically position four Citronella candles that remain lit throughout the session. Repellent spray is also provided for extra protection if desired.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

- A Welcoming Community: We believe in fostering a friendly and inclusive atmosphere, where everyone feels comfortable and supported on their journey.


- Expert Guidance: As an ACE Certified Fitness Instructor, I will lead each session, ensuring proper form and technique while tailoring the stretches to accommodate participants of all levels of ability for a pleasurable and safe experience.


- Mind-Body Connection: In addition to the physical benefits of stretching, I will encourage mindfulness during our session. Connecting with your breath and remaining present in the moment will greatly enhance your experience.


- Opportunities for Socializing: After each session, there will be time to chat, share, and make new friends with like-minded individuals who value health and wellness.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Arrive 15 minutes early to ensure a prompt and peaceful start.

Openness to Learn: Whether you're a newbie or experienced in stretching practice, we encourage a willingness to learn and grow together.


- Comfortable Attire: Wear loose, comfortable clothing that allows for easy movement during our sessions.


- Fitness/Yoga Mat or Towel: Bring a yoga mat or a towel to ensure a clean and comfortable space for stretching.


- Water: At least 16 ounces of water to refresh and remain properly hydrated.


- Positive Attitude: Come with a positive mindset, ready to embrace the joy of stretching and relaxation.
