About this Event
Kutana, which means “to meet” in Swahili, is a curated supper club for Black and BIPOC women in Montréal.
Built for immigrant women, and open to all women of colour, it exists for one reason:
finding your people here isn’t easy.
You move, you build a life, you figure things out.
But real connection? That part takes longer than expected.
Kutana is where that gap gets smaller.
We bring women together over dinner, so you don’t have to keep navigating this city on your own.
No pressure, no cliques. Just a table, good food, and people who get it.
Whether you just arrived or you’ve been here for years, this is a space to find your circle.
--------------------
"An Evening in Bloom" is the first dinner of the summer season — and it's going to be a VIBE.
We're setting a table for thirty Black and BIPOC women to connect over a fresh spring menu curated by a private chef, surrounded by florals, set inside a beautiful private art gallery.
On the night:
- A curated four-course dinner including shared platters & dessert
- R&B music sets the tone all night
- Conversation cards to get things going
- A photo booth to capture the moment
- And of course, a room full of women you'll leave calling a friend
The pace is relaxed — enough space to actually eat, talk, and breathe. Interactive without being intense. No pressure, just good energy.
This is what Kutana was built for.
Spots are limited. Come dressed up in your florals and meet your people!
