The Baltimore Watercolor Society is excited to feature an evening with our 2024 Mid-Atlantic Juror, award winning plein air artist and educator Russell Jewell. We will be watching Russell do a demonstration using skills plein air painters and studio landscape artists use to bring light and life to their landscapes. His plein air background means the painting will be swift and skillful; his 35+ years of teaching artists means he can explain the whys in a way illuminating to students at any level and to the general public.
