Our season of weekly Evensongs has ended, but the Cathedral Choir will be singing an Ascension Day service on THURSDAY at 6PM. Rosalind Hughes, an Evensong favorite, will be preaching, and the choir will sing Mendelssohn’s “Above All Praise and Majesty” and Jacob Handl’s “Ascendens Christus.” We’re also delighted to sing an arrangement of “Lord, Enthroned in Heavenly Splendor” by Parker Ramsay, who was our assistant organist here some years ago. Evensong returns in the fall, and we look forward to seeing you then!
