About this Event

Some evenings are made for slowing down. This is one of them.

Why abstract? Abstract painting has no rules — and that's the point. No right shape. No wrong color. No finished look to chase. Just you, the ink, and whatever moves through you when you stop trying to control the outcome. When you let go of the result, your nervous system notices. That's what this evening is for.

What we're doing Large-format alcohol ink painting on 26×20" Yupo paper. Big paper, big energy. You'll use a hairdryer to push and pull ink across the entire surface — watching color bloom, blend, and surprise you in real time. Every piece comes out completely different. Yours will be one of a kind.

The evening We start with a charcuterie board and drinks — sparkling water, juices, something to sip while you settle in. Graze, meet the people around you. Then I walk you through the technique — step by step, no experience needed. Just bring a willingness to let go.
