Evan White's Brews & Blue - Bar Crawl for Colon Cancer Awareness - Saturday, March 4, 2023 - Henderson Avenue, Dallas, TXWe're back! Come join us on Saturday, March 4th, 2023 for the 5th Annual Evan White's Brews & Blue - Bar Crawl for Colon Cancer Awareness in Dallas, Texas! Show up wearing your wildest BLUE outfits in support of Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. As always proceeds will go to Fight Colorectal Cancer, an organization with which Evan served as an ambassador. Let's make this year bigger and bluer than ever!!
THEME : Wear anything and everything BLUE. We encourage BLUE wigs, glasses, shoes, glitter, accessories, or whatever you can come up with! Blue T-shirts will be provided with admission.
TICKETS INCLUDE :
-Brews & Blue Bar Crawl T-Shirt
-Drink specials at each participating bar! (3pm-9pm)
-A party with friends while raising money for a great cause!
TICKET TYPES :
-General Admission: $30.00 (until EOD 3/03/2023)
-Day Of: $35.00 (3/04/2023)
-Additional Donation: If you would like to make an additional donation, or if you can't attend the event and still would like to support the cause , please select the 'Additional Donation' option, where you will be able make a donation for whatever amount you feel led to give.
PARTICIPATING BARS:
Details to come as the event gets closer.
REGISTRATION : 3:00pm - 5:00pm outside at 77 Degrees. All participants MUST register and check in by 5:00pm to receive a wristband for specials and shirt! If you can't make it by 5pm Saturday, you can have a friend pick everything up for you. They will need to have your ticket.
Tickets : You MUST have a copy of your ticket with you or on your phone. Screenshots will not work, it must be the actual ticket.
DRINK SPECIALS:

ID : DO NOT FORGET YOUR ID !! It will be checked at every participating bar that you choose to go to. All participants must be 21 years old or older.
WEATHER : Event goes on rain or shine! Must be 21 to attend. All sales final, no refunds. Bar specials subject to change at bars discretion.
Be safe and have a great time! Please don't drink and drive. Call a cab, Lyft or Uber, or have someone who will be a designated driver. Please drink responsibly. Must be 21 to participate. Event will go on rain, snow, or shine!

Evan's Story : In July of 2017, Evan was diagnosed with Stage III Colon Cancer. He went through surgery, 6 months of chemotherapy, and was NED (no evidence of disease) for almost a full year before his cancer returned in February 2019. He started the Brews & Blue Bar Crawl as a way for others to join him in the fight against colorectal cancer. Since then, we have raised over $50,000 for colorectal cancer research. We've seen wins in new legislation related to colorectal cancer, such as lowering the recommended screening age to 45 and the passing of the Medicare Loophole Bill. But we are not stopping there, and we strive to continue to make an impact. That is why this cause is so near and dear to our hearts.
Evan passed away on October 18, 2021, after a four-year-long battle with stage IV colon cancer. He was at peace knowing he would be returning home to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He spent his final days surrounded by his family and friends. He will forever be remembered for lighting up every room he entered, his joyful spirit, rocking dad shoes, writing songs about his dog, quoting movies, his impersonations, and being the ultimate goofball.
Evan beat cancer by not letting his diagnosis prevent him from living his life. While going through treatment, he visited 5 countries in Europe, 11 states, and attended countless music festivals. He never let his own battle prevent him from being an amazing friend, fiancé, son and brother. The way he fought with a smile on his face inspired many. He was the true definition of a warrior. At his request, we are carrying on the Brews & Blue Bar Crawl to continue the fight against Colorectal Cancer.

Fight Colorectal Cancer : All proceeds directly support Fight Colorectal Cancer (Fight CRC) and are tax deductible. Receipts will be emailed from Fight CRC following the event. Fight CRC is a non-profit organization that is committed to helping find a cure for colon and rectal cancers. Fight CRC is all about battling this disease through advocacy and research. As Fight CRC is a registered 501c3 non-profit organization, many companies will provide a match on your ticket/donation. Please check with your employer to see if they will match your contribution. Feel free to contact us at [email protected] if you have any issues getting a receipt.
