Evaluation Training & TA for CHE Grantees

About this Event

Join the Community Health Endowment for a hands-on evaluation training designed to help grantees identify, measure, and communicate the impact of their work. Whether you are evaluating a specific CHE-funded project, a broader organizational program, or your organization's mission-level outcomes, this workshop will provide practical tools to strengthen your evaluation efforts.

By the end of the training, participants will be able to:

• Describe the difference between outputs, outcomes, logic models, and theories of change.
• Identify at least two evaluation practices relevant to their program or organization.
• Develop an evaluation plan to assess identified outputs and outcomes.

When: July 29, 2026

• Workshop: 8:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.
• Optional one-on-one consultation sessions: 1:30–5:00 p.m. (Each organization may reserve one 30-minute session. Only one person needs to register for the session, but up to two representatives from the organization may attend. Sessions are available on a first-come, first-served basis.)

Following the workshop, participating organizations may reserve a 30-minute consultation with the trainer. These individualized sessions provide an opportunity to discuss your organization's specific evaluation questions, review existing data collection methods, receive feedback on evaluation plans, and identify practical next steps for measuring impact.

To help tailor the training and consultation sessions, participants will be asked to complete a brief pre-workshop worksheet identifying:

• The program or project they would like to focus on
• Evaluation data currently collected (e.g., enrollment forms, surveys, attendance records)
• Areas where additional evaluation support would be most helpful
