About this Event
Evaluation & Treatment of Safety Sensitive Professionals with SUD
Please join us for the first in a series of CEU presentations in honor of Pavillon's 30th Anniversary. This talk will offer deep dive into the unique challenges faced by safety sensitive professionals dealing with substance use disorders (SUD). This event covers practical evaluation and treatment strategies to support medical, transportation, and public safety professionals; ensuring safety and health for both those individuals and those they may interact with and serve. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to hear this topic presented by Pavillon's own Medical Director, Dr. Michael Wilkerson. Dr. Wilkerson has been working in the field of substance use disorder for over 25 years with a focus on treating healthcare professionals. He has served as the Medical Director and Corporate Medical Director for Bradford Health Services, as Medical Director of Talbott Recovery Center, and as the Medical Director of the North Carolina Physicians Health Program. As a native North Carolinian, Dr. Wilkerson returned to his “home state” when he joined us at Pavillon. Dr. Wilkerson is nationally named a Fellow of the American Society of Addiction Medicine in recognition of his high level of achievement and dedication to the field of addiction medicine. This event will offer 2 CEUs.
