Evaluating Impact: How to Collect the Evidence

Evaluation of the impact of your research has become increasingly important, for the REF but also as a way to inform the way you develop future research. But how can you know whether impact has been achieved from research?

• Integrate impact monitoring into your research projects;
• Collect evidence impact throughout the project lifecycle;
• Evaluate research outcomes and impact of research at the end of the project;
• Identify approaches to enable non-academic use of research outcomes once any project funding has ended.
