The European Spinoff Summit is an exclusive, invite-only event on the 12th May in Munich dedicated to bridging the gap between academia and entrepreneurship.

Co-hosted by First Momentum Ventures and SPRIND (Germany's Federal Agency for Disruptive Innovation), and supported by Joachim Herz Stiftung and TUM Venture Labs, the summit brings together around 150 carefully curated researchers, deep-tech founders, investors, universities, technology transfer offices, and ecosystem players from across Europe.

The event supports scientists on their journey from lab to successful startup, offering a tailored program of keynote talks, hands-on workshops, panel discussions, networking sessions, and a poster competition. Attendees gain direct access to prominent deep-tech investors and learn first-hand from founders who have successfully spun out of research institutions.

This year, speakers such as Jan Goetz (CEO, IQM Quantum Computers), Georg Püschel (Co-Founder, Wandelbots), Claire Gusko (Co-Founder, one.five), and many more are on the agenda. Past speakers have included the co-founders of Isar Aerospace, TWAICE, CureVac, and INERATEC, representing some of Europe's most successful science-based ventures.

The Spinoff Summit has established itself as one of Europe's premier gatherings for research-driven innovation and deep-tech entrepreneurship.
