Discover the secret life of bees with champion apiarist Norm Webb
Join us at the Turramurra Community Garden for an engaging and practical talk by award-winning amateur beekeeper Norm Webb. Norm is vice-president of the Parramatta branch of the Amateur Beekeepers Association (ABA), a group comprising about 1,000 members across Sydney. With over 40 years of apiary experience and a spectacular record of championship victories at the Sydney Royal Easter Show, Norm will pull back the curtain on what really goes on inside a beehive.
In this relaxed garden setting, you will learn about the fascinating life cycle of honeybees, the vital role pollinators play and the medicinal properties of honey. Whether you are a curious gardener wanting to attract more pollinators or an aspiring backyard beekeeper eager to learn how to keep hives healthy, Norm’s wealth of local knowledge is not to be missed.
