The venue is one of New York City’s architectural treasures featuring a historically preserved interior and mostly unchanged exterior since it was built. The house was formerly a civic club, a French Beaux-Arts style, designed by Thomas A. Gray in 1898. The landmark building stayed in the original owner’s family until the Estonian Educational Society, Inc. purchased it in 1946. Today the space houses several Estonian organizations across its four floors. The first and second floors feature a lobby, bar & restaurant, Billiard Room, The Great Hall, and the Blue Room.
