EuroAsia Shorts 2024 Closing Night

Join us for the closing night of the at the Embassy of Austria. In this joint event, eight countries from Asia and Europe present new short films, which follow the theme for this year's festival: Dignity.

In our modern world, the word dignity denotes respect, self-respect, and status. The desire to preserve dignity and the dignity of others is universal. Sometimes we choose to sacrifice it, other times human dignity is threatened or violated by others – how far are we willing to go to preserve it? Explore with us the great variety of international shorts and the directors’ varying approaches to this subject matter.

All films are subtitled in English. They are not rated and may contain adult language or themes.

The event will begin with a variety of light international refreshments.

Doors open at 7:30 p.m.

Parking on International Court is available after 6:30 pm (for the duration of the event), or on 36th Street (access to the Embassy through the park behind the building). Van Ness Metro (Red Line) is a short distance away.
