Springs Ensemble Theatre opens Season 17 with "Eureka Day" by Jonathan Spector, a smart and painfully funny comedy about a progressive private school thrown into crisis when a mumps outbreak forces parents and administrators to confront questions of trust, responsibility, and community values.
At Eureka Day School, everyone believes in listening, inclusion, and consensus. But when the stakes rise and the community can no longer agree on what “doing the right thing” means, polite conversation gives way to hilarious conflict.
Funny, human, and uncomfortably familiar, "Eureka Day" asks what holds a community together when certainty begins to fall apart.
