Saturday, November 9th, 2024
Eulogy - 10 Buxton Ave. Asheville, NC 28801
Doors 5PM || Show 6PM
We chose the occasion to celebrate our community welcoming us to AVL's vibrant music scene, shining a spotlight back to those who have supported us in our first year. The stacked lineup features many of the bands who have hosted their Album Release shows on our stage.
This is a donation-based festival, with 100% of the proceeds at the door benefitting Lamplight AVL and their efforts to support Asheville area artists in the aftermath of Helene.
Pink Beds
Pink Beds sits at the intersection of spacious grooves and lush song-crafting. If All I Have, the band's debut LP, was a love letter to the sounds that surrounded them in Appalachia, the March 2024 follow-up, Spare Key To A Memory, is a nuanced and evolved form, showcasing their love of lush, angular, and ethereal sounds designed to resonate with our deepest emotional experiences.
Impending Joy
The absolutely unfettered energy of Asheville's psych/garage band Impending Joy begs to be heard live. The driving surf punk-esque sound has to be enjoyed communally. Impending Joy's debut, self titled album is a journey through time carrying a twinge of nostalgic familiarity.
Seismic Sutra
Formed in Asheville, Nc, Seismic Sutra delivers a unique blend of psychedelia. Heavily delayed vocals blended with dense guitar layers brings the listener on a transcendental journey.
Powder Horns
Powder Horns emerged from the swirling mists of Asheville, born in the hidden craters of forgotten moons and nurtured by the whispers of ancient, sentient trees. Their music is a spell cast in the language of lost dreams, a sonic odyssey through prismatic caves where time flows like liquid crystal.
Paper Pills
Paper Pills is emerging as a dynamic five piece out of Asheville, NC. Combining SouthEast emo, Alternative Rock, Indie, and poignant lyricism. Composed of singer Avis Atkins, bassist Nathan Barnitz, drummer Lawson Alderson, and guitarists Jordan Shaulis & Colin Gillie, each member's unique backgrounds brings a unique flair to the groups sound.
