In cooperation with the Hipstoric Art Festival in downtown Vicksburg the Strand is showing this new documentary from the Thaxton Studios.
Renowned short story writer Eudora Welty is explored through intimate and charming interviews, both with Eudora herself and with family and friends. Seen through the backdrop of Jackson, Mississippi, Eudora is a revealing portrait of adventure, daring, humor and love as we meet a writer we only thought we knew.
And we will be offering our soon-to-be famous watermelon mint julep as part of the festival's mint julep trail.
Tickets are $9 in advance and $10 at the door.
