ETIENNE CHARLES - CREOLE SOUL

Trinidad-born trumpeter and composer Etienne Charles blends Caribbean traditions with jazz to tell powerful stories of history and community. His acclaimed album Creole Orchestra topped JazzWeek’s 2024 charts. A dynamic performer and educator, he also serves as Professor of Studio Music and Jazz at the University of Miami Frost School of Music.
