About this Event
We are seeking ethnically diverse mentors from the Liverpool City Region to support our ethnic minority HR students.
This Liverpool John Moores University project aims to contribute towards improving HR practitioner diversity by connecting students and HR professionals from ethnically diverse communities to create lasting relationships that will improve the social capital of our students.
Mentors should identify as Black, Asian, Mixed or Other ethnic background.
This is the launch event of our ethnic minority Mentoring Scheme for HR professionals and students.
This project aims to enhance the social capital of ethnic minority LJMU HR students by connecting them with ethnic minority HR professionals in the Liverpool City Region. The main reason for adopting this aim comes from the need to create an opportunity for ethnically diverse students to access practical based knowledge and support.
The launch will provide you with an opportunity to hear about our mentoring scheme, recognise and share ‘lived experiences’ and to meet with potential ethnically diverse mentees in a relaxed environment.
Refreshments and a food will be provided.
