Experience the Ethiopian coffee ceremony, a centuries-old ritual of hospitality, community, and connection, in partnership with Ethiopian Tewahedo Social Services (ETSS). This live demonstration at CMA at The Pizzuti will take place in the sculpture garden and invites visitors to witness the traditional roasting, grinding, and brewing process while learning about Ethiopia as the birthplace of coffee and its rich cultural legacy.
Presented in conversation with Tavares Strachan: The Day Tomorrow Began, the program expands themes of Pan-African histories, diasporic knowledge, and the visibility of cultural traditions across the African continent and its global connections.
