This course is divided into three sections:
The first section provides an overview and sample of an energy healing code of ethics. Participants will discuss the purpose, scope of practice, meaning of informed consent, and the laws concerning touch, light touch, and no touch. (1 hour)
The second section includes a discussion about cautions and contraindications, client expectations, and researched benefits of energy healing. Participants will gain an understanding about how to talk about these areas with their clients. (1hr 20min + 10min break)
The third section looks at several real-life case studies that showcase common ethical problem areas such as boundary issues, spirituality and beliefs of the client and therapist, direction on giving advice. (1hr 20min plus 10-min break)
