Bulls and Saints: Directed by Rodrico Dorfman
After 20 years of living in the United States, an undocumented family decides to return home. Little do they know it will be the most difficult journey of their lives. Set between the backdrop of the rodeo rings of North Carolina and the spellbinding Mexican hometown they long for, Bulls and Saints is a love story of reverse migration, rebellion, and redemption. Bulls and Saints was co-produced by Nuevo South, LLC and Firelight Media in association with American Documentary ⎸ POV and Latino Public Broadcasting, with funding provided by the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.
Ethics at the Movies:
Ethics at the Movies has screened over 40 films and brought such distinguished guest artists as Peabody Award winning filmmaker Judith Helfand; photographer and filmmaker Ansley West; Regina Kelly, the inspiration behind the film American Violet; and Foreign Press Association Journalist of the Year Award and Peabody Award winner Saeed Kamali Dehghan, among others. Ethics at the Movies has partnered with the Atlanta Jewish Film Festival, the Atlanta Film Festival, the Reel Abilities Film Festival, PBS, HBO Documentary Films, POV, and Emory Film Studies.
