Ethical Leadership Programme — Autumn Cohort

Are you a compassionate leader who would like to understand how to lead in a more ethical way?

Would you like to gain a deeper understanding of how your actions, thoughts and behaviours have the ability to positively impact and inspire those around you?

As leaders, we’re often hired for our ability to perform; for our work experience and our specialist area of expertise. We’re not usually selected based on our ethical capacity. Yet, good leadership involves approaching situations honestly, fairly and equally which results in compassionately engaging and inspiring those around us. Thinking and behaving ethically means we need to understand ourselves and others, and this takes practice.

The Ethical Leadership Programme is for leaders who want to learn to lead differently. This is a highly reflective experience that involves sharing personal insights, and listening to and learning from the experiences of like minded peers in a kind and supportive group setting.

• Leaders who are open to a different type of leadership programme, where the focus is on sharing experiences and listening to others

Delivered entirely online, the experience consists of six real-time sessions held over a six week period. The programme takes place twice each year, with each cohort having a maximum of nine participants. This intentionally intimate group format allows leaders the time and space that’s required to share personal insight, and to grow together as a close-knit group.

• Ability to identify, practise and implement key aspects of ethical leadership
• Ability to identify factors that can help and hinder personal ability to act ethically
• Basic insight into the historical use and context of ethical leadership
• Confidence in applying a constructive approach to difficult conversations
• Understanding of how to be a leader who is both compassionate and efficient
