Ethical Assessment for Linkworkers

AIMS:

This course is for those Perth and Kinross staff who have already undertaken the Introduction to Linkworking course

• To explore the role of the Linkworker in contributing to the overall assessment of the student and what constitutes ethical assessment.

• To explore different ways of gathering evidence to contribute to the ethical assessment of the student

• To explore how make sure our evidence is ‘robust’ evidence (ie facts versus opinions).

• To explore how learning can be structured, in partnership with the practice teacher, to provide opportunities to develop practice throughout the placement

• To explore assessment as relevant to the student’s stage of development and training (SCQF levels, the student’s previous experience, assessment of first and final placements)
