Ethan Mitchell is a folk musician who calls Ottawa his home. He writes silly little songs to help get things off his chest, and he loves sharing his music with friends, family, and the occasional stranger. He writes about cowboys, Canada, country folk, city folk, lonesome folk, and friendly folk. He gave up the cello to sing and play guitar, setting stories to song and every now and again yodelaying a couple hee-hoos.
His songs range from tender love songs, toe tapping shuffles, and Country crooner power ballads, sung in a rich, timeless baritone punctuated by flashy bluegrass runs and intricate fingerpicking guitar.
