Both hailing from the St. Louis area, Katie Hubbard and Ethan Jones bring you a night of memorable music from two iconic muses spanning decades of hits. The music of James Taylor and Carole King transports you to the best of times with some of the Great American Songwriters. Inspired by the Troubadour’s 50th Anniversary show, they are sure to have you singing along all night! You'll come running to see them again. Ethan Jones is a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter from the Metro-East St. Louis area. In 2012, Jones was a featured contestant on the hit TV show American Idol and ranked among the top 150 contestants. Along with performing regularly, he also is Director of Music at the School of Rock St. Peters location, striving to build up the next generation of musicians and songwriters. He celebrates the legacy of James’s music and writing, in addition to his contributions to other artists.
Katie Hubbard is a singer songwriter based in St. Louis, who loves being a part of the thriving local music scene. Slow Down, Child, her debut album was released in 2022 and she continues to write, record, and release music as she creates from her soul. Katie is also a talented trial lawyer and embraces the paradoxes that this lifestyle presents. Hubbard grew up with the music of Carole King and James Taylor all around her, as they were two of her family's favorite artists. Katie started writing music after her beloved aunt passed away suddenly and plays Carole King in her aunt's honor.
