ESU Public Speaking Competition Final
The prestigious ESU Public Speaking Competition is the largest of its kind in England and Wales. The competition’s unique format develops a range of communication skills, with students taking on the roles of speaker, chair and questioner. The pairing of students from different schools encourages confidence, collaboration and quick thinking.
Over 300 teams have competed during the past six months to reach the finals at the ESU’s headquarters, Dartmouth House, London.
Registration will take place from 10.00–10.30am, with the semi-finals beginning at 11.00am. The 12 regional finalist teams will compete in the semi-finals, with the top six teams progressing to the Final in the afternoon. Where one team crowned the overall winner. Awards will also be presented for Best Speaker, Best Chair, and Best Questioner.
Attendees can enjoy the presentations throughout the day, as well as have the chance to meet and network with other guests. If attending as an audience member, you consent to photographs and videos being taken for social media use.
