Estimating Fundamentals: Building Accurate & Competitive Estimates

Join us for Estimating Fundamentals, a multi-session workshop series presented in partnership with Barr & Barr and designed to help small business owners strengthen their estimating skills and better prepare for successful projects. Each session will build on the previous one, providing practical guidance and hands-on learning throughout the series.

Workshop Series Schedule:

• October 22, 2026
• November 12, 2026
• December 10, 2026
• December 17, 2026 – Graduation Day!

During this series, you will:

• Learn how to review project plans, scopes, and specifications to identify the work involved.
• Walk through the estimating process, including labor, materials, overhead, and other project costs.
• Practice developing an accurate and competitive estimate while learning how to avoid common estimating mistakes.
• Receive a one-on-one consultation three months after graduation to help apply what you learned and address your business’s estimating needs.

Participants are encouraged to attend all sessions to receive the full benefit of the series and complete the program requirements. The series will conclude with Graduation Day on December 17 to recognize participants for completing the program.
