**Address is located on East Lake Dr in Pontoon Beach, IL near IL-111 or you can follow the signs posted at 111 & South Drive by STS Armory & 111 Auto Sales & North Drive.**I am 3 years into the process of cleaning out an investment property. Although, I periodically list things online, my health has been unpredictable. So, I’m opening up my solarium to the public on Saturdays 10-3.
The other house, my investment home, was also built in 1946. As you can imagine, I have a great variety of items for sale: Antiques, collectibles, kitchenware, glassware, primitive tools, cookware, furniture, antique jars, painting, lawn decor, and much more.
I’ve been doing all of this on my own. It’s been slow going. I’m a disabled vet and widowed mother of 2. Your business is sincerely appreciated.
Some of the pieces, such as antique cabinets, rare home goods & collectibles, some sports memorabilia, & vintage piggy bank will have an auction sign up sheet available. Winners will announced before end of day each Saturday, 3 or 4pm depending on traffic.
Although unconventional, I believe the auctions will be a fun interactive buying experience. No need to worry. There are lots of ready to buy quality items at low prices. We must have the other house (and the pole barn) fixed up and ready to rent asap so we have sustainable source of income.
Keep in mind this is a fundraising effort to rehab my investment home, restore my yard (10 years vacant and overgrown), bring my primary residence up to code & make necessary improvements, support my family, and create future income potential, security, stability; roots that I never had. This is all so I have something to pass on to my children when I’m gone that will continue to grow. Hopefully, one day it will even grow beyond my small family and contribute to our village!
