About this Event
Family structures today look very different than the ones estate law was built around. Blended families, unmarried partners, stepchildren, and other non-traditional households often assume their wishes will be honored automatically. Under the law, that is not always true.
This free educational seminar explains how estate planning works for families that do not fit the traditional legal model. The focus is on understanding what the law actually does, where common assumptions can cause problems, and how planning can bring clarity and stability for the people you care about.
Refreshments will be provided.
