Tuition: $30, Materials: $3
There’s something magical about wildflowers—the way they sprout, bloom, and shift with the seasons, always finding their place in the landscape. During this relaxed, lecture style class, Olena will walk you through designing a thriving wildflower, native plant, or pollinator-friendly garden that supports bees, butterflies, birds, and wildlife. There will be plenty of time for question and answer, custom-tailored advice to your space and needs (bring photos!), and time for exploring the side yard at the Ely Folk School to check out what species have been growing here successfully.
