Pro photographer Ian Plant shares some of his favorite artistic techniques for taking nature and travel photos that go beyond mere snapshots. He'll discuss the creative use of light, composition techniques, going wider to provide context and tell a story, creative camera settings, and learning how to capture the magic of the moment.

In the afternoon we will meet up again at Parfrey's Glen State Nature area for the hands on portion.

Info: We will meet again at Parfrey's Glen Nature area near Devils Lake for the hands on portion. You will need a Wisconsin State Park admission sticker (in state $13, out of state $16 or annual sticker). You will need to hike to reach the shooting location.
