New to paddle boarding? Want to hone in your developing skills? Want to be a more confident paddler? Want to get back on your board smoother after falling off?
It's time to take a formal lesson so you can be an effective and safe paddler, and raise your enjoyment of the sport.
In this skills workshop you will learn:
* Safety: Equipment, Reading the weather and environment, Safe paddling practices on land and water, Avoiding hazardous situations.
* Self rescue techniques.
* Paddling Technique: How to hold the paddle, stroke techniques.
* Maneuvering: Entering and launching in the water, Forward / Backward / Sideways strokes, Turning while stationary and moving.
